At her business, Crossfit Raze, you are unlikely to hear owner and coach, Bobbie Sage talking about “getting skinny” and “shaping a bikini body.” She doesn’t work like that. Instead you will hear words such as fit, strong, mobile and determined as she encourages and coaches people who are interested in having a longer and more vigorous life.
Bobbie takes particular care to create and nurture community for her clients and their families. She works hard to make sure that gym members are no strangers to each other. They become friends, their children become pals and share in living happier and healthier. “We support and care for each other,” said one member of Crossfit Raze, “both in the gym and out of it.”
The stories of those who have overcome challenges and succeeded are often told at the gym. Members say that Bobbie is especially skilled at encouraging and motivating people who may have previously tried and failed to become more fit.
Some might think that that Crossfit Raze takes up all of Bobbie’s time and energy. She is also a loving mom and a patient rescuer of dogs. This caring, dynamic woman is proud of her business and enjoys playing an integral part of making Elkhart County a more vibrant and fit place.
