What’s happening now? Glad you asked — check out the full Action Agenda right here on the website.

The Action Agenda details projects, places and policies aimed at strengthening the things that Elkhart County residents love, from parks and green spaces to cultural and arts venues to neighborhoods and community events. Residents from Elkhart, Goshen, Nappanee, Middlebury, Bristol and Wakarusa contributed to this outcome with close to 4,000 comments contributed by nearly 1,000 over a series of community meetings.

The steering committee started meeting in February 2017. Their goal is to get a handle on how to bring these ideas to reality. We’d love to know from you:

  1. Which items should take highest priority;
  2. Who should take the lead in each of the projects;
  3. How you’re willing to help!

You can review the each community’s Action Agenda by clicking on the related link below.

Then sign up for email updates if you haven’t already. We know you love your hometown and want to do what you can to make it better. 2017 is the year to do just that!
