Building off the energy and excitement of the January 26 Kickoff event in the Crystal Ballroom, the Community Conversations will bring together residents for discussion about what they love about their hometown and what actions they envision that could help make it even more lovable. The Conversations are open to ANYONE who cares about the future of Elkhart County and its many communities. Meetings will run two hours and include a brief presentation from the Planning Team followed by intense discussions on the possibilities for each place. Confirmed sites, dates and times for Community Conversations are, as follows:
- Countywide: 10 a.m. to noon and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, February 22, at the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds, Martin Room, 17746 County Road 34, Goshen.
- Elkhart: 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, at Pinewood Elementary, 3420 East Bristol Street, Elkhart.
- Nappanee & Wakarusa: 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, at NorthWood High School, 2101 North Main Street, Nappanee.
- Goshen: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, at the Goshen High School, Media Room, 401 Lincolnway E, Goshen.
- Middlebury & Bristol: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 25, at Middlebury Town Hall, 418 North Main Street, Middlebury.
