Lee is a very active member in the Elkhart County community. She raised four children here and throughout that time supported the school system, athletic teams and any extra curriculars her kids and friends were involved in. Now that her youngsters have grown and are all out of the house and in college, she still visits the schools and even attends cross country and track meets.
Outside of her involvement with her children, Lee supported her family’s small business, Caribbean Auto Spa Car Washes in Elkhart and Middlebury. Like many of Elkhart County’s Vibrant People, Lee is continuously looking for ways to support and better the community. She was recently sworn in as a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate for Elkhart County. In that capacity, she will be helping children navigate through the court system and advocate for their best interests.
Lee is a very positive and supportive woman. She finds a way to connect with every person she meets and she is also a great role model for the young moms and kids she mentors. Her friend Erica Graphman says, “I haven’t met a person who doesn’t love Lee, because she’s so outgoing and personable.”
Lee loves running and biking on one of the area’s great assets, the Pumpkinvine Trail.
