Today, we give a shout out to Mallory Hill, one of Elkhart County’s Vibrant People!!!
Her mother says her daughter is “quietly vibrant” but wonders if that is not an oxymoron. No need to worry, Mrs. Hill, being Vibrant in a quiet way is not an oxymoron. Mallory Hill is certainly one of Elkhart County’s Vibrant People.
There are many people with artistic leanings throughout Elkhart County. Few have the range of talents like Mallory. She can sing, dance, act, paint and write. Her creativity is apparent. She is a voracious painter and became a published author at age 18. You will often find her on stage with Premier Arts. In fact, you can see as part of the ensemble performing the original play “Good Night and God Bless.” It is premiering this weekend at the Lerner.
Mallory is humble about her talents. She simply says she loves the arts. Theatre has been “consistently fun” for 12 years now. She tells us she has met many of her friends by being involved in local theatre.
Mallory, novel Terminal Regression was published in 2017. It helped her win the Author’s First novel contest. You can learn more at Mallory Hill author at wordpress.com.
Mallory graduated with a degree in Anthropology from Indiana University. She is now going to Goshen College to get her teacher’s license. Substituting for Elkhart Schools is giving her some practical experience as well. We think she will shine as a teacher.
She already shines as the Vibrant Person she is.
