To kick off the Independence Day weekend, our Vibrant Person is Toby Crowley!!!
Nick Banke tells us Toby Crowley is a proven leader who cares. We learned about Toby serving as the quartermaster at the Goshen Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 985. We also heard that Toby is an enthusiastic and energetic guy who has settled in comfortably in Elkhart County. Late last year, he told Marshall King, “I definitely consider this home.”
Toby is a retired Marine who spent time in both Afghanistan and Iraq. He came to this area and found a job at Lippert. Today, he is general manager of the company’s window division.
At the VFW post you may find Toby behind the bar. You will find him to be courteous, respectful and friendly. He likes what he’s doing and he does it well.
What Toby does is help organize the Post’s various activities and manage the money. It takes time and talent to keep things moving. It also takes a generous spirit to commit himself to volunteering.
Nick Banke says, “Toby is really passionate and involved in leading many different facets of volunteering and acts of service in Goshen and throughout the Elkhart County area.”
We are grateful that a guy like Toby chose to live here and call this place home. We appreciate all that he does. We hope he has a terrific Independence Day weekend.
NOTE: For reasons we can’t understand, We had a terrible time getting this great picture of Toby to post. We heard “the guy is unreal” and we thought it was just a compliment. He lives!
